Lauren Gluckman, Recipient of Brit Shalom's Helping Hands Award

The Helping Hands award was established by Congregation Brit Shalom to honor those of our dedicated volunteers who have made outstanding contributions to our synagogue and congregation. At the Spring Congregational Meeting on April 28, Ron Hodes announced that Lauren Gluckman was chosen for this year’s award by a committee of previous recipients.

Lauren has served the congregation in various capacities. For the past fifteen years, she has been on our board as VP for Education and VP for Religious Affairs, and has been our liaison to the nursery school. She was there to help us navigate through the recent COVID years in order to continue providing religious services.

She will receive the award at a Fall Friday Shabbat and Oneg in her honor.
